The Olfactory
Interpretation of OSZI
To capture the essence of the OSZI universe in a fragrance, the Maison turned to Maxime Bonelli Philippe, a perfumer and olfactory interpreter.
Rather than approaching OSZI through a conventional fragrance brief, Maxime began by immersing himself in the Maison itself.
OSZI opened its archives to him: family photographs, personal memories, places, and materials. This became the starting point for a more intuitive form of research, allowing him to understand the Maison through its history.
A memory, a Hungarian heritage, the atelier’s atmosphere have become central themes for Maxime. Elements he observed, felt, understood and eventually translated into his olfactory language.
