History
A family history of high leather goods
1954
A story between Hungary and France.
OSZI draws its origins from Hungary and France, in the story of a man who chose freedom at the cost of leaving everything behind.
In 1954, when the Hungarian regime asks him to return home, Oszkár refuses. He knows what this choice implies: leaving behind, for good, a part of his life, his country and his history.
Nicknamed OSZI, “autumn” in Hungarian, he then crosses borders with the instinctive elegance that had always defined him.

The women
A strength that is passed down.
Around Oszkár, several generations of women carried this same independence.
They worked, raised their families, lived through hardship and built their own path with a quiet strength.
A century later, Félix Tamas, their great-grandson, pays tribute to them through the Maison he founds.

The first piece
It all begins with a photograph.

A photograph, found again.
Oszkár appears in it, impeccably dressed. Félix’s eye stops on one detail: his shoes, gleaming with an almost obsessive precision.
Félix begins to learn leatherwork. Little by little he discovers the material, the gesture and the know-how that give it form.
His first work with leather gives birth to a card holder.

From this first piece, OSZI is born: a Maison founded on an uncompromising idea of beauty, one that lets the material speak and inscribes in every creation a part of those who shaped it.
The Maison’s first manifesto bears a name: ROSZI, in tribute to the founding figure of his family.
